Industrial Park Barcelona is a unique industrial park with an almost mechanical feeling to the place. Very close to the Barcelona Sants train station a great place to unwind if your train is delayed.
Industrial Park Barcelona prides its self pn being a modern park. Constructed in 1985 within the old textile factory complex. The park designed by the architects Lluis Peña Ganchegui, Francesc Ruis i Camps, Antón Pagola and Montserrat Ruiz.
An interesting park designed in an industrial abstract style that gives visitors a chance to walk, relax and a view a different type of inner-city park.
The park seems to have a very 1980s abstract design and feel to it. As Barcelona is well-known for its more traditional modernist designs, the park offers something unique. The design of the park is quite different to anything else in Barcelona.
We wouldn’t recommend that this park should be top of your agenda. Of course you should visit the Sagrada Familia first! A visit to this park could be added to your itinerary if you are in the area and have half an hour of free time to un-wind. It is a great place to visit to relax on a warm summer’s day. It is also a good place to visit with kids as there is a boating lake and dragon slide. Since it is close to Barcelona Sants train station, it could be away to pass some time if you arrive too early or your train is delayed.
The park has several historic and modern sculptures on display. It also has a boating lake, sports complex, a giant dragon with slides and children’s play areas. The park is in the Sants and Hostafrancs district and within walking distance of the main RENFE station Barcelona Sants.
Is The Industrial Park Barcelona Worth Visiting?

My opinion of the Industrial Park Barcelona is that it is a great place to visit as a family. There is a great slide for the kids, and enough to keep the rest of the family interested. The only negative thing is that the park is a bit away from other attractions. This means it will take a bit of time to get to, unless you are staying nearby. Overall, visit this park if you have time, if you don’t have time, then keep to Park Güell, Sagrada Familia and the Gothic Quarter.
