City Guide Apps, developers of the Barcelona City Guide and the Malaga travel and city guide apps have created the following advice on how to delete your account and what personal data our Android app collects.
If you have downloaded our Barcelona City Guide app or our Málaga Travel and City Guide app from the Google play store and have created an account to either save places as favourites, or leave a comment, you have the right to delete your account. Our app only collects user name and your email if you have used this as your user name. We do not collect any other personal or device data. To delete your Barcelona City Guide or Malaga Travel and City Guide app account, there are two ways to do this –
- Open the Barcelona City Guide / Malaga Travel and City Guide app and select the main menu. Select the last option at the bottom of the side bar menu “Delete account”. You will then see a message that asks “Are you sure you want to delete your account?” Press OK, your account, and all data will then be deleted for good.
- You can ask us to manually delete your account and all data, by sending us an email to barcelona@barcelona-cityguide.com Please include “delete account” in email heading, and remember to include your user name that you used when creating your account to use our app.
